A Better HD31 Starts With You

Chad Bingham is running to give working-class Georgians a stronger voice in the State House by listening locally and acting boldly

My core values are non-negotiable:

  • Local Accountability

I will be present and answerable to the people of Jackson and Hall Counties through direct engagement and ongoing dialogue.

  • Bold Advocacy

I will tirelessly push hard for policies that benefit working-class Georgians, even when they challenge the status quo.

  • Community Voice

Your stories, challenges, and concerns as everyday residents should shape our public policy, not some vague commitment to "movements" that don't put food on the table.

  • Accessible Representation

I will make sure your state government is approachable, responsive, and directly focused on the experiences of local families.

  • Unyielding Integrity

I will make decisions deeply grounded in our community's long standing values: honesty, humility, and conservative purpose.

Infrastructure and Growth

  • Local Infrastructure First

Jackson County needs a state representative who fight for our roads, water, and power needs. I'll work with DOT and Public Service Commission to ensure our infrastructure projects match our growth.

  • Smarter Growth

Growth shouldn't bankrupt our communities. I'll champion legislation allowing school districts to collect impact fees, ensuring developers pay their fair share for the infrastructure their projects demand.

  • Emergency Response

When it takes 50 minutes to get a stroke victim to the hospital because of traffic, we have a crisis. I'll fight for dedicated emergency vehicle infrastructure and more certificate of need reforms.

  • Education Funding

Jackson County has the fastest-growing school system in Georgia but gets treated like we're standing still. I'll work for our state funding to put our local money back into our local classrooms.

Local Representation

  • Jackson's Dedicated Voice

Jackson County can't be an afterthought in Atlanta. HD31 is over 95% Jackson County, and we need someone that resides in Jackson to give a voice to our community.

  • Accessible Government

Your representative should be your neighbor, not a stranger. I'll hold town halls and maintain an open-door policy because good government starts with good listening.

  • Common-Sense Transparency

Government paperwork shouldn't require a law degree to understand. I'll work to simplify state processes and make sure working families can navigate state services simply.

  • Support Local Law Enforcement

Our sheriff's department needs millions more for a county our size. I'll work to expand state training programs and grant opportunities for our local sheriff's department and rural law enforcement.

Government paperwork shouldn't require a law degree to understand. I'll work to simplify state processes and make sure working families can navigate state services simply.

  • Support Local Law Enforcement

Our sheriff's department is $10 million behind where it should be for a county our size. I'll work to expand state training programs and grant opportunities for rural law enforcement.

Economic Development

  • Balanced Development

We welcome business growth, but not at the expense of our quality of life. I'll push for stronger local authority to require adequate infrastructure commitments from major developments.

  • Supporting Small Businesses

As a local business owner, I understand the regulatory burden crushing our entrepreneurs. I'll fight to streamline permitting and reduce bureaucratic barriers for Jackson County businesses.

  • Agricultural Heritage

Our farming communities built this county. I'll defend agricultural tax exemptions and oppose any state policies that threaten our rural way of life.

Conservative Values

  • No Compromise on Gun Rights

The Second Amendment isn't negotiable. I'll oppose any state restrictions on lawful gun ownership and support legislation removing barriers that make no sense.

  • Pro-Life

Our God-given rights begin with the recognition that he gave us life in his image. That life begins at conception, and I will continue to stand up and fight for protecting our unborn.

  • Government for the People

State government should work for citizens, not against them. I'll push to eliminate duplicative agencies and make state services as efficient as the private sector businesses I work with every day.

Chad Bingham is the Neighbor that Fights For You

Chad Bingham isn't your typical politician—he's your neighbor. Born and raised in the shadow of Cape Kennedy Space Center, Chad has called Jackson County home for years, building both his family and his business right here in our community. After graduating from the University of West Alabama, he spent over a decade in sales before founding Bingham Insurance Group in 2013, growing it from a single office to six locations across the Southeast. But Chad's real passion has always been serving others. Married to his wife Sarah for 20 years with four kids ranging from 16 to 6, he understands the daily challenges facing working families—from sitting in our traffic to navigating our growing infrastructure needs.

Chad's commitment to Jackson County runs deep through his hands-on leadership in our community. As a Braselton Rotary Club member, he leads the charge to raise over $100,000 annually for underprivileged children and helped secure funding for two life-saving NICU beds at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton. His work co-founding the Empower College and Career Center has literally changed lives—creating pathways for our young people to earn good-paying jobs without crushing debt. Whether serving as County Commissioner in 2023-2024 or leading safety teams at Free Chapel Church, Chad tackles hard problems with common-sense solutions because he lives with the consequences of those decisions every day.

Now Chad is ready to take that same neighbor-first approach to the State House. While other candidates talk about Jackson County from a distance, Chad experiences our rapid growth firsthand—the traffic, the strain on our schools, the need for better infrastructure. He's knocked on thousands of doors not to campaign, but to listen. Because Chad knows that real change starts with real conversations, and a better House District 31 starts with you. When he gets to Atlanta, he won't just represent Jackson County—he'll be Jackson County's voice, fighting for the resources and respect our community deserves.
